Why will we process your personal data?
In connection with the provision of accommodation in our facility, we will use your personal data for the following processing activities:

  • through our website you have the option to create a reservation via the reservation system of an external partner. It is our duty to inform you that your consent is necessary for the processing and storage of this data, and we will also inform you of your rights,
  • to accept, process, and confirm your order and subsequently provide you with accommodation services of our accommodation facility;
    • the legal basis for processing personal data under this point is Article 6 (1) (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, where the processing of your personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract,
  • to fulfill our legal obligations, which include the relevant recording of paid local fees for tax purposes and a register of guests, preparation and processing of tax documents;
    • the legal basis for processing personal data is Article 6 (1) (c) of the General Data Protection Regulation, where the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of our legal obligations (such as Act No. 253/1998 Coll. on the reporting of the residence of citizens of the Slovak Republic and the register of residents of the Slovak Republic, Act No. 582/2004 Coll. on local taxes and local fees for municipal waste and small construction waste and generally binding regulations established by the municipality - Generally binding regulation of the City of Vysoké Tatry No. 5/2023 on local tax for accommodation, Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on accounting, Act No. 222/2004 Coll. on value added tax);
  • Without processing your personal data, we cannot provide you with the services of our accommodation facility.

Whom will we provide your personal data to?
We will provide or make your personal data accessible only to recipients who act in accordance with specific laws. These include, for example:

  • the competent state authority for the purpose of fulfilling the specific law No. 253/1998 Coll. on the reporting of the residence of citizens of the Slovak Republic and the register of residents of the Slovak Republic,
  • the municipality in accordance with the relevant generally binding regulation,
  • the technical provider of the online interface of the reservation system.

Information on the transfer of personal data to third countries
We do not intend to transfer processed personal data to third countries (meaning outside the European Union or the European Economic Area).

How long will we keep your personal data?
We will retain the personal data you provide for a maximum of 10 years from your last reservation at our accommodation facility. After this period, we will securely dispose of your personal data. Your personal data will not be used for marketing or any other purposes not approved by you without your consent.

What rights do you have in relation to the processing of your personal data?
As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • To request access to your personal data, which means you have the right to be provided with a copy of the personal data we process about you,
  • To request correction of your personal data. Therefore, if you believe that the data we process about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can correct this data,
  • To request deletion of your personal data,
  • To request restriction of processing your personal data.
